The West Tennessee Child Passenger Safety Center (WTCPSC) is a child passenger safety program funded by the Tennessee Department of Transportation Governor’s Highway Safety Office. The program focuses on child passenger safety to children under the age of fourteen. The following are community outreach events offered to daycares, health care providers, law enforcement, and emergency personnel.
The West Tennessee Child Passenger Center provides the following:
- Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Checkpoints
- An official CPS fitting station
- National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) 32-Hour CPS Course
- Non-Certifying CPS awareness courses (8 and 4 Hours)
- Health Fair Exhibitions
- CPS presentations, workshops, and exhibits
- CPS Statistical information
- CPS literature (pamphlets, brochures, magazines, etc.)
- CPS videos tape library
